Job Description: Our customer, industry leader in digital security for Telecom and Finance sector becomes the world’s largest producer of smart cards, supplier of complex customer solutions and smart card services.
Team based in Prague is oriented mostly on telecommunication and serves not only three mobile operators in Czech Republic (Vodafone, O2, T-mobile) but also customers in whole Europe: Vodafone group, O2 group, Orange group etc.


Job Responsibilities
Java developer is responsible for developing existing applications based on specific company’s customer requirements.

As a key member of the team, you will use your skills as a technically savvy problem-solver and independent thinker to determine the right solutions for our clients. Then, using your passion for technology, you will work on products from Technical Specifications (CRS) through Design Specifications (SDD) to development of server side software component. Your work as a team member will affect almost every aspect of the development with interface with technical leaders, validators, integrators and projects manager.

Required Qualifications
•Development skills in Java standard edition or Java (J2SE, J2EE)
•Good development methodology expertise of life cycle of the project
•Experience with SQL (environment PL/SQL) Oracle Database and Unix OS (HP UX, Sun Solaris, Linux)
•Knowledge of Telecom (GSM/3G network, secure SW/PKI) is an advantage
•Double knowledge C++/Java is appreciated
Other Requirements:
•Fluent English, occasional business travel
•Customer and service orientation, ability to operate well in an international and multicultural environment
•University graduate with a technical degree
•2 - 4 years experience in similar role is required
